Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated professional to support the implementation, testing, training, go-live and post-go-live support of a Hospital Management Information System (HMIS). The role will involve working closely with hospital users, the HMIS implementation team, technology teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and smooth functioning of the solution.
The candidate should have a good understanding of digital implementation projects, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with both business users and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. HMIS Implementation Support

Support the implementation team in configuring and rolling out the HMIS solution across various hospital departments.
- Coordinate with hospital stakeholders to clarify functional issues and track implementation activities.
2. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Support preparation and execution of UAT scenarios and test cases.
- Coordinate with end users to conduct testing across different hospital functions/modules.
- Document test results, identify gaps and track issues through resolution.
- Validate fixes and conduct re-testing before closure.
- Ensure UAT activities are completed as per the agreed implementation plan.
3. End-User Training & Change Management

Provide hands-on support to users during the transition to the new HMIS.
- Identify recurring user challenges and provide feedback to the implementation team to improve adoption.
4. Issue & Bug Reporting

Identify, document and report functional issues, bugs and system gaps encountered during UAT, implementation and post-go-live.
- Clearly document the issue, steps to reproduce, screenshots/evidence, business impact and priority.
- Coordinate with the technology/product team for resolution and track issues through closure.
- Maintain an updated issue/bug tracker and provide regular status updates.
5. Go-Live & Post-Go-Live Support

Support go-live activities and ensure readiness of users, processes and system modules.
- Monitor and track post-go-live issues, user queries and system-related challenges.
6. Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting

Act as a point of coordination between hospital users, the implementation team and the technology/product team.
Maintain implementation trackers, UAT status, training trackers, issue logs and other project documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in IT implementation projects, application support or a similar role.
- Experience in UAT, user training, issue/bug reporting and application support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with both clinical/administrative users and technical teams.
- Good documentation and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
