- Operate CNC / NC Press Brake machines for sheet-metal bending and forming operations.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, fabrication drawings and work orders.
- Check material type, thickness, dimensions and quantity before starting the job.
- Select the correct punch, die and tooling based on material thickness and bending requirements.
- Set up the machine and adjust bending parameters such as angle, pressure, back gauge and bend sequence.
- Properly position and align the sheet before bending.
- Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary machine adjustments.
- Maintain required bending angle, dimensions and tolerances as per drawing specifications.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Steel Rule, Measuring Tape, Angle Gauge/Protractor etc.
- Identify and correct common bending defects such as incorrect angle, dimensional variation, scratches, deformation and improper alignment.
- Ensure minimum material wastage and proper utilization of sheets.
- Achieve daily production targets without compromising quality and safety.
- Record production quantity, rejection/rework and material usage as required.
- Inform the supervisor about machine abnormalities, tooling problems and quality issues.
- Perform basic operator-level machine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication as per procedure.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S standards in the work area.
- Coordinate with Laser Cutting, Welding, Quality and Production teams for smooth material flow.
- Follow all applicable company safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Handle sheets and components safely to prevent injury, material damage and scratches.
- Stop the machine and report immediately if any unsafe condition or abnormal machine operation is identified.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
