About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Python API Developer Intern to join our engineering team. The intern will work closely with experienced developers to build, maintain, and test backend services and REST APIs using Python.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who have a strong interest in Python backend development, API development, databases, and software engineering and want to gain hands-on industry experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain REST APIs using Python.
- Work with frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable Python code.
- Integrate APIs with databases and external services.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Debug API issues and troubleshoot application errors.
- Work with JSON data and HTTP methods/status codes.
- Write basic SQL queries and work with relational databases.
- Collaborate with developers and other teams to understand technical requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Use Git/GitHub for source-code management.
- Learn and contribute to ongoing backend development projects.
Required Skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python.
- Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
- Knowledge of JSON and API request/response structure.
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or Django is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and development practices.
