Compliance & Regulatory Risk – Banking

- Remuneration range commencing from $102,000 p.a, inclusive of leave loading and superannuation
Regional Australia Bank is seeking an experienced compliance professional to help interpret regulatory change, support compliance monitoring and reporting, and strengthen regulatory risk culture across the organisation. You’ll join a collaborative and growing Legal, Governance and Compliance team as the Bank continues to build capability and strengthen how we support the business following our recent merger.
You’ll be an experienced compliance, risk or regulatory professional with sound financial services knowledge. ADI or banking experience will be highly regarded, particularly across regulatory change, compliance monitoring, obligations management or breach reporting.
You’ll bring strong judgement, clear communication and the confidence to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance for the business.
Legal studies or experience working alongside legal teams would be well regarded.
- Experience in compliance, risk or a regulatory environment within financial services.
- Knowledge of banking-related regulatory obligations, including APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC or consumer protection requirements.
- Experience using compliance systems, registers or reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Relevant qualifications in law, finance, business or risk will be well regarded, as will equivalent practical experience.
