We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the directorÔÇÖs vision and is suitable for broadcasting. You will be expected to bring your creative flair and technical expertise to enhance our video content across various platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, along with proficiency in industry-standard editing software.
- Manipulate and edit raw video footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality videos for various platforms (social media, web, presentations, etc.).
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the video's impact and message.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions between scenes, maintaining continuity and flow.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members throughout the production and post-production process to understand project scope and objectives.
- Review scripts and storyboards to understand production requirements and visual storytelling goals.
- Apply color grading, sound mixing, and visual effects to achieve desired artistic and technical results.
- Manage and organize all raw footage, project files, and assets efficiently.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and creativity.
- Meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality content consistently.
- Provide creative input and suggestions during the editing process to improve the overall quality of the final product.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to video editing software and hardware.
