Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live online sessions covering the full curriculum (details below)
- Run hands-on labs/demos for each tool (not just theory)
- Guide learners through real-time projects (CI/CD pipelines, microservices, Kubernetes, IaC, monitoring)
- Clear doubts, evaluate assignments, and support project completion
Topics to Be Covered (Trainer must be proficient in)
- Foundations: Linux, Shell Scripting
- Cloud: AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, CloudFormation, SQS, Elastic Beanstalk)
- IaC: Terraform (HCL, modules, state management, provisioners, AWS/Azure integration)
- SCM: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket (branching, merging, CI/CD pipelines)
- Configuration Management: Ansible (Playbooks, Roles, Galaxy)
- Build & Artifact Tools: Maven, JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus
- App Servers: Apache Tomcat
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (Helm, Ingress, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps)
- CI/CD: Jenkins (pipelines, multi-stage, integrations with Git/Maven/Sonar/Nexus/Docker/K8s)
- GitOps: Argo CD
- Monitoring/Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager
- Scripting/Automation: Python (boto3, docker-py, kubernetes-client, DB integration)
Required Skills
- Strong practical command of AWS and/or Azure plus core DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible)
- Ability to teach concepts with live hands-on demos, not just slides
- Clear communication skills for online teaching; comfortable with a structured, project-based syllabus
