Job Summary
The Duty Medical Officer is responsible for providing quality medical care to patients, managing emergency and inpatient cases, monitoring patient progress, and coordinating with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and assess OPD, IPD, and emergency patients.
- Conduct patient examinations, diagnosis, and initial treatment.
- Perform regular ward rounds and monitor patient progress.
- Manage medical emergencies and provide immediate stabilization.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as per hospital protocols.
- Coordinate with consultants regarding patient care and referrals.
- Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, and discharge summaries.
- Monitor vital signs and treatment responses.
- Ensure timely execution of consultant orders and treatment plans.
- Participate in Code Blue and emergency response activities.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment plans and preventive care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and quality standards.
- Provide proper shift handover to maintain continuity of care.

Experience

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
