Job Summary
The Middle School Mathematics Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, student-centered mathematics lessons for students in Grades 6–8. The teacher will foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude toward mathematics while creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching methodologies, including hands-on activities, technology, and collaborative learning.
- Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments where applicable.
- Encourage logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and mathematical problem-solving skills.
Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Establish clear classroom expectations and routines.
- Promote active participation and student engagement.
Student Development
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide remedial assistance where necessary.
- Challenge high-achieving students through enrichment activities.
- Foster confidence, curiosity, and independent learning.
Communication & Collaboration
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary projects.
- Work closely with academic coordinators and school leadership to achieve academic goals.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain attendance records and assessment documentation.
- Submit reports, lesson plans, and academic records within stipulated timelines.
- Participate in school duties, examinations, and other assigned responsibilities.
Professional Development
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs.
- Stay updated with current teaching methodologies and curriculum changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
- CTET/TET qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/IB school (preferred).

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
