Placement Executive

Position Summary
Global Institute of Business Studies (GIBS Business School) is seeking a proactive and result-oriented professional for the role of Placement Executive to support campus recruitment activities, corporate relations, internship programs, and student placement initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, coordination, and relationship management skills with the ability to interact effectively with corporate recruiters, students, faculty, and industry professionals. The role involves assisting in placement drives, employer engagement, internship coordination, student readiness programs, and placement administration.
Candidates with prior experience in a Business School (B-School), Management Institute, or Higher Education Institution handling placements and corporate relations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Placement & Recruitment Coordination

Coordinate campus recruitment drives, placement activities, and hiring events.

Liaise with recruiters and corporate organizations for placement opportunities.

Schedule interviews, group discussions, assessments, and selection processes.

Ensure smooth execution of on-campus and virtual recruitment activities.
Corporate Relations
-
Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective recruiters.

Identify and approach companies for internships, live projects, and final placements.

Support corporate engagement initiatives and employer networking activities.

Maintain regular communication with recruiters regarding hiring requirements.
Internship & Industry Engagement

Coordinate student internship programs and industry projects.

Assist students in securing internship opportunities with reputed organizations.

Maintain internship records, reports, and employer feedback.
Student Support & Placement Readiness

Support students in placement preparation activities.

Coordinate pre-placement talks, career guidance sessions, employability workshops, and corporate interaction programs.

Assist in organizing mock interviews, aptitude assessments, and resume-building sessions.

Guide students on placement processes and corporate expectations.
Data Management & Reporting

Maintain student placement databases, company records, and recruitment statistics.

Track placement status, internship progress, and offer acceptance reports.

Prepare placement reports, MIS reports, and placement analytics for management review.

Ensure accurate documentation of all placement-related activities.
Event Coordination

Assist in organizing career fairs, industry interaction sessions, placement weeks, networking events, and corporate visits.

Coordinate logistics for recruiters, guest speakers, and industry representatives.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

1–5 years of experience in placements, recruitment, talent acquisition, corporate relations, or career services.

Experience in a Business School (B-School), Management Institute, or Higher Education Institution will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in coordinating MBA/PGDM student placements and internship programs.

Strong understanding of campus recruitment processes and employer engagement.
