Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Medical Coding Tutor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions in medical coding, guiding students through coding standards and healthcare documentation, and helping them develop industry-relevant skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom and online training sessions on Medical Coding concepts.
- Teach ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and mentor students throughout the course.
- Stay updated with the latest medical coding guidelines and industry trends.
- Assist students in preparing for certification exams and placements.
- Record training sessions and create educational content when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Medical Coding principles and healthcare documentation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Teaching or training experience is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply.
- Ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
