Project Execution Engineer (PEB Industry)
Job Summary
The Execution Engineer is responsible for on-site execution of Pre-Engineered Building projects, ensuring timely erection, installation, quality control, and coordination between design, fabrication, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:-
Site Execution
- Supervise erection of PEB structures at project sites
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings and project schedule
- Monitor daily site progress and resolve execution issues
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with design, PPC, fabrication, and dispatch teams
- Ensure material availability at site as per erection sequence
- Communicate site requirements and updates to head office
Quality & Safety
- Ensure all work follows safety standards and company guidelines
- Conduct site inspections to maintain structural quality and alignment
- Reduce rework and ensure compliance with engineering standards
Manpower Management
- Manage site supervisors, foremen, and contractor teams
- Allocate manpower effectively for daily targets
- Monitor labor productivity and discipline
Planning & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
- Track project milestones and timelines
- Report delays, risks, and site challenges to management
Material Handling
- Ensure proper unloading, stacking, and usage of PEB components
- Track material consumption and minimize wastage
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural steel / PEB erection process
- Ability to read structural drawings and GA drawings
- Site management and contractor handling skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making at site level
- Basic knowledge of safety standards (EHS)
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Civil/Mechanical (for site execution roles)
- 6+ years experience in PEB or steel structure erection
