Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technician to assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The candidate will be responsible for preparing patients, operating Cath Lab equipment, maintaining sterile conditions, monitoring patients during procedures, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the Cath Lab.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist cardiologists during coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac interventions.
* Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment, instruments, and consumables before and after procedures.
* Monitor patient vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters during procedures.
* Ensure strict adherence to infection control, radiation safety, and NABH protocols.
* Prepare patients for procedures and verify consent and clinical documentation.
* Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab imaging and monitoring systems.
* Maintain procedure records, equipment logs, and inventory of consumables.
* Assist in emergency cardiac procedures, CPR, and Code Blue situations.
* Coordinate with nursing, biomedical, and other departments for smooth workflow.
* Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and readiness of the Cath Lab.
Qualifications
* Diploma / B.Sc. in Cath Lab Technology, Cardiac Care Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or Allied Health Sciences.
* BLS Certification mandatory; ACLS preferred.
Experience
* 1–3 years of experience in a Cath Lab of a multispeciality or cardiac hospital.
* Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
Required Skills
* Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and interventional cardiology procedures.
* Proficiency in Cath Lab imaging and monitoring equipment.
* Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
