Clinical Responsibilities
- Image Interpretation: Review and accurately diagnose complex imaging studies, including X-rays, Ultrasounds, CTs, MRIs, and PET scans. [1, 2]
- Interventional Procedures: Perform or directly oversee minimally invasive, image-guided therapeutic procedures. [1, 2]
- Consultation: Act as an expert consultant to referring physicians, helping them choose the right exams and directing patient care based on imaging results. [1]
- Quality & Safety: Oversee radiology technologists to ensure image quality, and manage radiation safety and regulatory compliance within the hospital. [1, 2]
Academic & Teaching Duties
- Curriculum Delivery: Conduct lectures, tutorials, and clinical training sessions for MBBS students, postgraduate residents, and fellows. [1, 2, 3]
- Mentorship: Supervise junior faculty, guide postgraduate dissertations, and mentor students through academic presentations and case studies. [1, 2, 3]
- Accreditation: Ensure departmental teaching standards comply with medical boards (such as the National Medical Commission in India). [1]
Research & Administration
- Research Leadership: Spearhead clinical research initiatives, clinical collaborations across departments, and publish scientific papers in indexed medical journals.
- Departmental Management: Contribute to departmental meetings, policy-making, curriculum planning, and strategic development.
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
