Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical Systems Management
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the hospital, especially in critical care areas such as ICU, OT, NICU, Cath Lab, Emergency, and Laboratories.
- Oversee operation and maintenance of:
- HT/LT Electrical Panels
- Transformers
- Diesel Generator (DG) Sets
- UPS Systems
- Battery Banks
- Electrical Distribution Network
- Internal and External Lighting Systems
- Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical installations.
- Monitor electrical load distribution and energy consumption.
- Ensure timely rectification of electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Maintain statutory records related to electrical systems.
- Liaise with electricity authorities and electrical inspectors as required.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and hospital safety protocols.
2. HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) Management
- Oversee operation and maintenance of all HVAC equipment and systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of:
- Air Handling Units (AHU)
- Fresh Air Units (FAU)
- Air Conditioning Systems
- Ventilation Systems
- Exhaust Systems
- HEPA Filtration Systems
- Monitor and maintain temperature, humidity, air pressure, and air quality parameters in:
- Operation Theatres
- ICUs
- Isolation Rooms
- Laboratories
- Pharmacy Areas
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Coordinate HVAC validation and testing activities as per NABH requirements.
- Monitor energy efficiency and recommend improvements.
3. Medical Gas Pipeline System (MGPS) Management
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of medical gases throughout the hospital.
- Oversee operation and maintenance of:
- Oxygen Pipeline Systems
- Medical Air Systems
- Vacuum Systems
- Manifold Rooms
- Gas Outlets and Control Panels
- Alarm Monitoring Systems
- Monitor oxygen consumption and cylinder inventory.
- Coordinate refilling and replacement of gas cylinders with approved vendors.
- Ensure periodic inspection and testing of MGPS components.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance and safety checks.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and safety requirements related to medical gases.
- Coordinate emergency response during MGPS failures or disruptions.
4. Plumbing and Water Management
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of potable and utility water throughout the hospital.
- Supervise operation and maintenance of:
- Water Supply Systems
- Plumbing Networks
- Overhead and Underground Water Tanks
- Pumps and Booster Pumps
- Water Treatment Plants
- RO Plants
- Softening Plants
- Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
- Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), if applicable
- Ensure regular cleaning and disinfection of water storage tanks.
- Monitor water quality through periodic testing.
- Ensure timely rectification of plumbing leakages and drainage issues.
- Maintain proper functioning of sanitary fixtures and drainage systems.
- Monitor water consumption and implement conservation measures.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
