Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Executive / Officer
Job Summary
The QC Executive is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying raw materials, in-process materials, and finished FMCG products to ensure they meet defined quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on detection of defects and maintaining consistent product quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesRaw Material Inspection
- Inspect incoming raw materials before production use.
- Verify quality certificates, batch details, and specifications.
- Reject or report non-conforming materials.
In-Process Quality Control
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are followed.
- Conduct regular checks during manufacturing and packing stages.
- Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
Finished Product Testing
- Inspect finished goods for quality, weight, packaging, labeling, and appearance.
- Conduct sampling and testing of final products.
- Ensure products meet company and regulatory standards before dispatch.
Laboratory Testing (if applicable)
- Perform basic physical, chemical, or microbiological tests.
- Maintain lab records and test reports.
- Coordinate with external laboratories when required.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain QC records, inspection reports, and test results.
- Report quality issues to QA/Management.
- Record rejection, rework, and corrective actions.
Compliance & Standards
- Follow GMP, HACCP, ISO, and FSSAI guidelines.
- Ensure hygiene and safety standards in production and QC areas.
- Support audits and inspections.
Coordination
- Work closely with production, QA, warehouse, and packing teams.
- Communicate quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Support continuous improvement in product quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science) or related field.
- Diploma in Food Technology or Quality Control preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in QC in FMCG / Food / Manufacturing industry.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection methods.
- Understanding of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, FSSAI).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic laboratory handling skills.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and basic software tools.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
