Site Engineer – Construction
Location: Project Site (Coimbatore)
Experience Required:
4–5 Years in Residential / Commercial Construction
Education Qualification:
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for supervising construction work, ensuring quality control, managing labor, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring timely project completion as per approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision
- Supervise daily construction activities at site
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and structural designs
- Monitor slab work, footing, column, beam, brickwork, plastering, etc.
Quality Control
- Ensure quality standards are maintained
- Conduct material inspections (cement, steel, sand, aggregates, etc.)
- Check alignment, levels, and finishing quality
Work Progress Monitoring
- Track daily progress of work
- Coordinate slab completion schedules
- Ensure milestones are completed on time
Labour & Contractor Management
- Manage and supervise site labor and subcontractors
- Allocate work as per daily plan
- Ensure discipline and safety at site
Measurement & Billing
- Take site measurements
- Prepare BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) if required
- Verify contractor bills and work quantities
Coordination
- Coordinate with Architect, Structural Engineer & Project Manager
- Report daily progress to management
- Assist in client site visits
Safety Compliance
- Ensure safety measures are followed at site
- Maintain site cleanliness and safe working conditions
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
