Job Description – Hospital Receptionist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a polite, presentable, and patient-friendly Hospital Receptionist to manage the front desk and assist patients, attendants, and visitors. The candidate will be responsible for handling patient inquiries, registrations, appointments, calls, and front desk coordination to ensure a smooth and professional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients, attendants, and visitors at the hospital reception.
- Handle patient registration, appointment booking, and OPD/IPD inquiry coordination.
- Provide information regarding doctors’ availability, consultation timings, departments, and hospital services.
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct them to the concerned department.
- Maintain patient records, front desk registers, and basic documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, billing desk, and other departments for smooth patient flow.
- Support admission, discharge, billing coordination, and patient guidance as per hospital process.
- Manage patient waiting area coordination and ensure proper queue handling.
- Handle basic complaints or concerns from patients politely and escalate when necessary.
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and professional at all times.

Qualification:
- Graduate / Undergraduate can apply
- Prior experience as a Receptionist / Front Desk Executive / Hospital Receptionist preferred
- Basic knowledge of hospital front desk operations will be an advantage
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
