DaBox Chennai is seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef specializing in Pan-Asian cuisine to join our established cloud kitchen operations. We are looking for a hands-on culinary professional with strong expertise in Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Korean cuisines who can maintain high food quality standards, lead kitchen operations, and support menu development in a fast-paced delivery-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-volume commercial kitchens, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to consistency, efficiency, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and oversee the production of a wide range of Pan-Asian dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Support daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service during peak order periods.
- Maintain standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure product consistency and cost management.
- Assist in menu development, recipe refinement, and seasonal menu enhancements.
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards across all orders.
- Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and ingredient quality while coordinating with procurement teams.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain operational efficiency and high performance.
- Minimize food waste and contribute to kitchen cost-control initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to improve kitchen processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in Pan-Asian cuisine.
- Strong expertise in Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Korean cooking techniques, ingredients, sauces, and preparation methods.
- Experience working in cloud kitchens, QSRs, restaurants, hotels, or high-volume food production environments.
- Proven ability to manage kitchen teams and maintain operational standards under pressure.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, kitchen hygiene, and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Culinary diploma, degree, or relevant professional certification preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
