Course Advisor – Overseas Education
About the Role
The Course Advisor is responsible for guiding students in selecting suitable overseas education options based on their academic background, career goals, financial considerations, and preferred destination. The role involves counselling prospective students, converting enquiries into applications, and providing end-to-end support throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding study opportunities in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK, USA and Europe.
- Understand each student's academic profile, career aspirations, budget and preferred destination.
- Recommend suitable courses, universities, colleges and study pathways.
- Explain course structures, entry requirements, tuition fees, scholarships and career opportunities.
- Assess student profiles for admission eligibility and identify suitable alternatives where required.
- Handle walk-in, telephone, online and digital enquiries and ensure timely follow-up.
- Convert enquiries into applications while maintaining a professional and ethical counselling approach.
- Coordinate with admissions and visa teams to ensure smooth processing of student applications.
- Keep updated with changes in courses, university policies, admission criteria and international education trends.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, counselling sessions, applications and follow-ups.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, particularly MS Excel, email and CRM/reporting systems.
- Willingness to continuously learn about new courses, institutions and changing admission requirements.
- Prior experience in overseas education counselling will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
