Probation Period: 2 Months
Probation Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month
Incentive: ₹1,500 per successful conversion/admission
About the Role
Edurect is looking for a dynamic and result-driven Admission Counselor to join our team. We are seeking candidates with prior experience in Sales, Business Development, or Admission Counseling who can effectively guide prospective students and convert inquiries into successful admissions.
This is a Work From Office role requiring strong communication skills, relationship-building ability, and a passion for helping students make informed educational decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding educational programs and admission processes.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, follow-ups, and student inquiries.
- Convert leads into admissions through effective counseling and relationship management.
- Conduct regular follow-ups via calls, emails, and messaging platforms.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and admission status in CRM/Excel sheets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Participate in outreach and business development activities to generate and nurture leads.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Prior experience in Sales, Business Development, or Admission Counseling is mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and influence prospective students.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated mindset.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools, Excel, and lead management.
- Comfortable with calling, follow-ups, and handling multiple inquiries.
Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month after successful completion of probation.
- Probation salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month for the first 2 months.
- Performance Incentive: ₹1,500 for every successful conversion/admission.
