Objective of the position: Brief Statement of Job Objective:Reporting to Head Engineering, this role would be responsible for the Design and development of New automotive component.
Required Educational Qualification :-
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering having experience of 2-5 years in similar Field.
Key Job Responsibilities :
- Lead complete design activities including concept design, process design, tool design,
- gauges and launch.
- Preparation 2D/3D design, BoMs, Engineering drawings, Control plan with strong command
- on CAD tools.
- Proficiency in CAD tool (For Autocad, CREO is prefered).
- Active Participation in APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, and PFMEA activities to ensure robust design
- and process development.
- Initial Product Feasibility review.
- Preparation Design calculations.
- Coordinate production trial run and process validation and testing ensuring complience with
- customer requirements.
- Support tool manufacturing activities.
- Knowledge of Tool manufacturing, Tool Material selection.
- Identify and implement design and process improvements (functionality, cost, design for manufacture).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Presentation Skill.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition as per 5’S.
- Evaluate impact of changes on tooling, process, cost, and quality.
- Support smooth SOP and production ramp-up.
- Apply GD&T, material standards, and customer-specific requirements.
Authorities:-
- Release of product drawing and tool drawing with final approval.
- Update engineering documents after approval.
- Escalate design risks, feasibility concerns, or data gaps.
- Raise Engineering Change Requests.
- Recommend design or drawing corrections.
- Communicate drawing clarifications with manufacturing and quality teams.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
