About Us:
Apex Call Center Ltd. is a growing transportation and logistics support company providing operational and back-office support for North America–based freight and cross-border trucking operations across Canada and the United States. We are expanding our operations team in India and are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to support daily fleet and dispatch activities.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatcher with experience in North American trucking operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate truck movements, communicate with drivers and brokers, monitor shipments, and ensure smooth cross-border operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, assign, and monitor loads for company drivers and owner-operators.
- Coordinate daily dispatch operations across Canada and the United States.
- Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, routes, delays, and delivery updates.
- Track truck movements and shipment status using fleet management and GPS tracking tools.
- Coordinate with brokers, customers, and internal teams for load updates and issue resolution.
- Ensure accurate and timely handling of cross-border documentation, including ACE, ACI, and bond-related requirements.
- Maintain dispatch records, trip logs, load confirmations, and operational reports.
- Monitor driver hours, fuel usage, and equipment availability to support operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the North American operations team to resolve real-time operational issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in North American trucking dispatch operations.
- Hands-on experience with dispatch and tracking software such as TransPlus, BorderConnect, Samsara, or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of cross-border trucking operations, customs documentation, and ACE/ACI processes.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with North American geography, routes, and trucking regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive situations.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts aligned with North American operations.
- Availability for occasional on-call support during weekends or emergencies.
- Ability to work from the office in Mohali on scheduled working days.
