Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical systems at construction sites while following all safety standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install electrical wiring, conduits, cable trays, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, and distribution boards.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Install and connect electrical panels, breakers, and control systems.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Repair electrical faults and ensure smooth operation of installed systems.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and electrical codes.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other construction workers.
- Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow company safety policies and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Required Qualifications :
- ITI Electrician or Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Valid electrician license/certificate is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety standards.
Experience :
- 1–3 years of experience in construction or industrial electrical work.
Required Skills :
- Knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of electrical tools and testing equipment.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Strong focus on safety and quality.
