Position: Logistics Manager

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the organization's end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring all logistics activities, including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, vendor coordination, and customer service operations.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods while optimizing costs, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply chain and logistics management
- Strategically plan, manage, and optimize logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations.
- Direct, coordinate, and oversee the complete order fulfillment cycle from procurement to delivery.
- Ensure smooth storage, movement, and distribution of goods while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Arrange warehousing, catalogue inventory, plan transportation routes, and process shipments effectively.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, delivery schedules, transportation costs, and operational efficiency.
Vendor and stakeholder management
- Manage relationships and coordinate effectively with vendors, suppliers, retailers, and customers.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery and cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor partnerships to support business continuity and operational excellence.
- Evaluate vendor performance and implement improvement measures where required.
Operations and performance management
- Track logistics metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance.
- Analyze data and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
- Resolve operational issues, customer complaints, and logistics-related challenges promptly.
Team management
- Supervise, train, mentor, and coach warehouse and logistics personnel.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety standards.
Compliance and governance
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting related to logistics and supply chain operations.

Education and qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar logistics/supply chain management role.
- Proven track record of successful logistics and distribution management.
- Experience in the education industry will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
