Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operation Theatre (OT) Technician to join our surgical team. The OT Technician will assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses before, during, and after surgical procedures by ensuring the operation theatre is well-prepared, sterile, and equipped for safe patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Operation Theatre before surgical procedures.
- Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and OT nurses during surgeries.
- Ensure all surgical instruments, implants, and consumables are available before each procedure.
- Maintain strict aseptic and infection control practices.
- Operate and maintain OT equipment, including suction machines, cautery units, monitors, and operating tables.
- Assist in patient positioning and safe transfer before and after surgery.
- Monitor and replenish OT supplies and consumables.
- Clean, disinfect, and prepare the OT after each procedure.
- Maintain records of surgical instruments, sterilization cycles, and OT inventory.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly for maintenance.
- Assist in emergency and trauma surgeries when required.
- Follow hospital safety protocols and quality standards at all times.
Eligibility
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (B.Sc. OT Technology / Diploma in OT Technology).
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with hospital OT experience will be preferred.

Working Hours
