Job Summary
The Sr MIS Executive will be responsible for managing Management Information Systems (MIS), reporting, and data analysis. The role will act as a single source of truth for business data, ensuring accurate, timely, and structured reports across sales, purchase, inventory, finance (reporting), HR productivity, and marketing, and providing analytical insights to support management decision-making.
Job Qualification and Requirements
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Management, Statistics, IT, or related field
- Min 5 years of experience in MIS, reporting, or business analytics
- Experience in apparel and/or jewellery retail will be an added advantage
- Strong command over Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with ERP / POS systems
- Understanding of retail KPIs and performance metrics
- High attention to data accuracy and detail
- Ability to handle confidential business data
Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports across all departments
- Perform data analysis on sales, inventory, stock ageing, sell-through, margins, and productivity
- Prepare brand-specific analytics for apparel and jewellery businesses
- Ensure data accuracy from POS, ERP, warehouse, and related systems
- Identify trends, performance gaps, slow-moving stock, and operational issues
- Standardize MIS formats and KPI definitions across brands
- Supervise MIS Executives and review reports for accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate with IT / ERP teams for report automation and system improvements
- Maintain data governance, reporting discipline, and master data integrity
