Job description
We are seeking an experienced Software QA Lead who can take complete ownership of quality assurance for our HRMS and CRM SaaS products. This role demands a highly analytical thinker with deep product understanding, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive end-to-end manual testing strategy in a fast-paced agile environment
Role & responsibilities
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
QA Leadership & Ownership
- Lead and manage the QA team, ensuring high-quality deliverables within timelines
- Own the end-to-end QA lifecycle for HRMS & CRM & Accounting products
- Establish and enforce robust manual testing processes, standards, and best practices
- Act as the quality gatekeeper for all releases
Test Planning & Execution
- Design detailed test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios based on business requirements
- Perform extensive manual testing including:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Testing
- UAT Support
- Ensure complete test coverage across all modules
Domain-Focused Testing (HRMS & CRM)
- Validate critical HRMS modules such as:
- Employee lifecycle management
- Payroll, Leave, Attendance
- Recruitment & onboarding workflows
- Test CRM functionalities including:
- Lead management, opportunity tracking
- Sales pipeline, customer lifecycle
- Reports & dashboards
- Verify complex business rules, workflows, and configurations
Defect Management & Quality Control
- Identify, log, track, and drive defects to closure with clear documentation
- Perform root cause analysis and ensure preventive measures
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain high standards for defect severity and prioritization
SaaS Product Validation
- Ensure quality of multi-tenant SaaS applications
- Validate role-based access, configurations, and data security flows
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Conduct API validation (via tools like Postman) from a functional perspective
Agile & Collaboration
- Actively participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and Support teams
- Provide clear test reports, risk assessments, and release sign-offs
Process Improvement
- Continuously improve manual testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Introduce structured test documentation and reusable test assets
Drive a quality-first culture across teams
Preferred candidate profile :
- 7+ years of Sound experience in Manual Software Testing (HRMS Product-based preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in SaaS / HRMS / CRM / Accounting products
- Strong expertise in test case design, execution, and defect tracking
- 4 years of Team handling experience is must.
- Solid understanding of HRMS and/or CRM domain workflows
- Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (Jira, etc.)
- Good knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Experience in API testing using Postman (functional validation only)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
