Position: QA/QC Engineer – Steel Fire Doors
Experience: 3–8 Years
We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer responsible for maintaining product quality and implementing inspection procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials.
- Check dimensions and thickness of steel sheets and components.
- Inspect laser-cut and CNC-bent components.
- Check frame and shutter dimensions.
- Inspect welding quality and finishing.
- Check door alignment, gaps and tolerances.
- Inspect insulation/core filling.
- Verify hardware installation.
- Conduct final inspection before dispatch.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Develop QC checklists and inspection procedures.
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production and Design teams to resolve quality issues.
Required Skills
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil/Production Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding inspection.
- Knowledge of steel/fire-rated doors will be preferred.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards and fire-door testing/certification will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
