About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality video content for digital platforms, social media, marketing campaigns, corporate communications, and promotional materials. The candidate should have strong storytelling skills, technical expertise in video editing software, and the ability to deliver engaging content within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into compelling videos for social media, websites, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
- Trim, sequence, and assemble video content while maintaining storytelling flow.
- Add graphics, animations, transitions, captions, and visual effects as required.
- Perform color correction, color grading, and audio enhancement.
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, and production teams to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Manage and organize video assets, files, and project archives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, editing techniques, and platform-specific video requirements.
- Meet project deadlines and manage multiple editing assignments simultaneously.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Film Production, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in video editing or a similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and export settings.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, sound design, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience editing content for YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and workflows.
- Basic photography or videography skills.
