Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions regularly.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Provide wound care and post-operative nursing care.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, privacy, and dignity at all times.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate nursing records and patient charts.
- Record assessments, treatments, medications, and progress notes.
- Prepare admission, transfer, and discharge documentation.
Communication & Coordination
- Coordinate with doctors, consultants, and allied healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Participate in nursing handovers and clinical discussions.
Infection Control & Safety
- Follow hospital infection control protocols and nursing standards.
- Ensure proper handling of biomedical waste.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic patient environment.
- Report incidents, accidents, and safety concerns promptly.
Emergency Care
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
- Perform Basic Life Support (BLS) and assist during Code Blue situations.
- Ensure emergency equipment is available and functional.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- BLS Certification preferred.
- 0–3 years of hospital experience (Freshers may apply based on organizational requirements).
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
