About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Freelance Performance Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize our paid marketing campaigns across digital platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience working with startups or early-stage products and understands how to build scalable paid acquisition campaigns with limited budgets and fast experimentation cycles.
You will be responsible for planning, launching, monitoring, and optimizing advertising campaigns across multiple channels to drive user acquisition, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms including:
- Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
- Google Ads
- LinkedIn Ads
- YouTube Ads (optional)
- Develop campaign strategies aligned with growth and acquisition goals
- Manage audience targeting, retargeting, lookalike audiences, and funnel optimization
- Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize for ROI, CPL, CAC, CTR, and conversions
- Conduct A/B testing for creatives, ad copy, landing pages, and targeting strategies
- Coordinate with content/design teams for ad creatives and campaign assets
- Set up and manage tracking tools such as Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, GTM, conversion events, and attribution systems
- Analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights and weekly performance reports
- Identify growth opportunities and recommend new acquisition strategies
Requirements
Mandatory
- Proven experience running paid campaigns across Meta and Google platforms
- Experience working with startups, early-stage companies, or product launches
- Strong understanding of digital marketing funnels and customer acquisition
- Ability to independently manage campaigns from setup to optimization
- Hands-on experience with campaign analytics and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Portfolio/case studies are mandatory
Preferred
- Experience in AI, SaaS, consumer apps, or career-tech products
- Experience scaling campaigns with limited startup budgets
- Understanding of landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM integrations
