Trainer – Broadband Technician

Job Summary:
Udayan Care is looking for a Broadband Technician Trainer to provide practical and classroom training in FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home), broadband installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The trainer will help youth develop technical skills and prepare them for careers in the telecom and broadband industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training on broadband technology, FTTH installation, fiber splicing, routers, and network troubleshooting.
- Conduct practical sessions on cabling, jointing, duct laying, and field operations.
- Assess trainee performance and provide guidance for improvement.
- Conduct soft-skills, workplace communication, and customer service sessions.
- Maintain attendance, assessments, and training records.
- Organize field visits and hands-on learning activities.
- Support job placement and interview preparation for trainees.
- Ensure a safe, disciplined, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Diploma, ITI, or B.Tech in Electronics, Telecom, Electrical, or a related field.
- Experience in FTTH technologies and broadband field operations.
- Good knowledge of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadband networks.
- Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
