Honeywell PLC Automation Engineer
Location: S. Kolathur, Chennai
Employment: Full-Time
Experience: 1–3 years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation or Mechatronics.
Key Skills:
- Honeywell PLC / DCS systems
- Honeywell HC900 / ML200 / ML200R experience preferred
- PLC programming, troubleshooting and modification
- HMI / SCADA development and troubleshooting
- I/O configuration and loop checking
- Industrial communication protocols
- Control panel and instrumentation understanding
- FAT, SAT, commissioning and site troubleshooting
- Reading electrical and instrumentation drawings
- Preparation of technical documentation
Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify PLC/HMI/SCADA programs.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, communication and instrumentation issues.
- Execute automation projects from engineering through commissioning.
- Perform FAT/SAT and site commissioning.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors and project teams.
- Prepare I/O lists, control narratives, functional logic and project documentation.
- Provide technical support for existing Honeywell automation systems.
- Travel to customer sites when required.
Preferred Candidate:
Someone who has actually worked on Honeywell PLC systems, rather than only having general PLC knowledge.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
