Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager with 7–8 years of relevant experience to manage our end-to-end logistics, transportation, dispatch, and delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily logistics, transportation, dispatch, and delivery operations.
- Plan and coordinate movement of materials and finished goods.
- Manage transporters, vendors, drivers, and courier partners.
- Negotiate freight rates and control logistics costs.
- Monitor vehicle planning, loading, dispatch, shipment tracking, and delivery.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Purchase, Sales, and Accounts.
- Ensure proper documentation including LR/GR, POD, delivery challans, invoices, and e-way bills.
- Resolve delays, damages, shortages, and transportation issues.
- Monitor transporter performance and maintain vendor records.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly logistics MIS reports.
- Lead the logistics team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; Logistics/Supply Chain qualification preferred.
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in transporter/vendor management and team handling.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and logistics documentation.
- ERP/SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
