About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Key Accounts Manager / Accounts Manager with strong
experience in experience to commercial accounts from different vertical industries such as,
Automotive, A&D suppliers, Industrial, Semicon, Engineering Services, Startups. The role
involves driving sales of advanced engineering software solutions such as Siemens EDA,
Siemens DISW, Qt, WR PCB design tools, mechanical design systems, CAD/CAE platforms, and
simulation technologies. The position is based in Bangalore with responsibilities across the south
region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Achievement
- Achievement of revenue targets, New Product Sales (NPS) for Siemens EDA, Siemens DISW, Qt, WR from respective region customers for private accounts/ commercial market.
- Forecasting and developing annual sales quota for region and ensuring that the quarterly and annual Sales targets are met.
- Accurately forecast business opportunities and funnel generation activities within the territory.
- Develop, maintain, and execute a Territory plan for Automotive, Industrial, Semicon, Defense & new startups. Develop and implement new sales/Marketing initiatives and strategies.
- Work closely with the Application engineering team to ensure continuous customer demo/support
- Identify new market opportunities and account for new client acquisition as per the assigned targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 8-15 years of effective solution selling experience to commercial accounts from
different industry vertical such as, Automotive, A&D suppliers, Industrial , Semicon, Engineering Services, Startups etc
- Good track record in Sales quota achievement & new logos acquisition
- Should have experience in selling and setting up meetings with Senior Executives and Department Heads.
- Strong work ethics and organized, quick learner.
Planning, Forecasting & Strategy:
- Prepare accurate annual and quarterly sales forecasts for the assigned region.
- Maintain strong funnel generation and predictable revenue performance.
- Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan tailored to the commercial accounts from
different industry vertical such as, Automotive, A&D suppliers, Industrial , Semicon,
Engineering Services.
- Create and implement sales & marketing strategies for deeper account penetration.
Key Account Management & Customer Engagement:
- Engage with senior decision-makers including Program Directors, Chief Engineers, Group
Heads, Scientific Officers, Procurement Committees.
- Work closely with Application Engineers for high-quality product demos, proof-ofconcepts,
and technical discussions.
New Business Development :
- Identify new business opportunities in different industry vertically such as, Automotive,
A&D suppliers, Industrial, Semicon, Engineering Services, Startups
- Lead new logo acquisition efforts across Government and Defence entities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical
- MBA in Sales/Marketing (Preferred).
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven sales experience in commercial accounts from different vertical industry such as, Automotive, A&D suppliers, Industrial, Semicon, Engineering Services, Startups etc.
- Strong record in sales quota achievement and new logo acquisition.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
- Ability to engage with senior executives, technical leaders, and procurement committees.
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, organized, and a strong team collaborator.
- Strong work ethics with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to technical products.
