We’re looking for a Chef de Partie to take ownership of a section in the kitchen and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires strong fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure during service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate a designated kitchen section independently
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Prep and mise en place planning for daily service
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Train and guide Commis chefs and kitchen helpers
- Monitor stock levels and minimize wastage
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef during service
- Follow SOPs and contribute to improving kitchen processes
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and service flow
- Experience in cafés or modern Indian/continental kitchens preferred
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle high-volume service calmly
- Passion for food and willingness to learn
