Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Import Operations Manager – Sea & Air to manage end-to-end import operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in freight forwarding, documentation, coordination with stakeholders, and system handling for import shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end operations for Sea and Air Import shipments
- Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and CHA
- Prepare, check, and manage import documentation (BL, HBL, AWB, Invoice, Packing List, IGM, DO, etc.)
- Ensure timely delivery order, and cargo delivery
- Track shipment status and update customers regularly Pref SoftLink
- Handle ODEX process and follow up with shipping lines
- Maintain operational records and MIS reports
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and customer requirements
- Resolve operational issues and customer service
Required Skills & Competencies
- 3–4 years of experience in Sea & Air Import Operations
- Strong knowledge of Shipping Line/AirLine processes
- Logisys, Soflink, ODEX, Google Drive / Google Sheets / Docs
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Relationship with shipping line / Air Line operation Team
- Work and define SOP
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (Logistics / Supply Chain preferred)
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in a Handling Corporate Customer
- Familiar with Indian import regulations and procedures
- Ability to Handle the Team
