Job Summary
Responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing goods while maintaining accurate inventory records. Ensures efficient stock control, logistics, timely reporting, and safe, organized warehouse operations, supporting inventory audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices
- Store materials systematically to ensure safety, accessibility, and preservation
- Maintain accurate inventory records using logs or inventory systems
- Issue materials with proper documentation and tracking
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
- Perform cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to management
- Manage transporter relationships, selecting carriers based on pricing, reliability, and efficiency
- Coordinate with transporters; evaluate carriers based on cost and reliability
- Plan and manage dispatch and delivery schedules
- Monitor shipments to ensure products are delivered to customers in good condition
- Prepare and submit shipping reports to management
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the store/warehouse
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- B.tech/B.E Degree or equivalent ; additional certification logistics management
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and record-keeping
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to handle physical workload and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, inventory software)
- Tamil speaking will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
