Job SummaryThe Account Executive (Textiles) manages client relationships, drives fabric and garment sales, and coordinates between buyers and production teams to ensure timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with apparel brands, retail buyers, and wholesalers.
- Sales Growth: Pitch new textile collections, negotiate pricing, and achieve monthly volume targets.
- Order Tracking: Monitor order progress from sampling and fabric approvals to final shipment.
- Market Analysis: Track fashion trends, seasonal demands, and competitive pricing.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and logistics departments to resolve quality issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years of sales or account management experience specifically within textiles, fabrics, or apparel sourcing.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric types (woven, knit, cotton, polyester), yarn counts, and dyeing/printing processes.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM software, ERP systems, and MS Excel. [1, 2, 3, 4]
