We are looking for a passionate Tableau Developer to join our growing team and contribute to building impactful data visualization and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Connect Tableau to various data sources, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Excel, and cloud-based databases.
- Develop calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, sets, filters, table calculations, and dashboard actions.
- Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Validate data accuracy through reconciliation, data quality checks, and source-to-target validation.
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and deliver insightful dashboards.
- Optimize Tableau dashboard performance and improve report efficiency.
- Publish, schedule, and maintain dashboards on Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.
- Work closely with Data Engineering and ETL teams to ensure reliable and consistent data availability.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot dashboard-related issues.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Tableau Development.
- Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud.
- Proficiency in SQL, including Joins, CTEs, Window Functions, Aggregations, and Stored Procedures.
- Experience with calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, sets, filters, and dashboard actions.
- Hands-on experience working with multiple databases and data sources.
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts.
- Exposure to ETL tools or ETL processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI is an added advantage.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Analytics projects is preferred.
