We are looking for a Sales Engineer with strong technical knowledge to drive field sales of industrial machinery and equipment. The role involves business development, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate should understand industrial applications, be comfortable with technical discussions, and have proven experience in B2B sales.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Industrial Sales: Core B2B sales in machinery, capital goods or equipment
- Product Details: You’ll be responsible for networking all our products but majorly focusing on Air Compressors, Diesel Gensets, lubricants and Infra products (welding rods, general steel, etc)
- Territory Sales Management: Field sales and client visits within Jharkhand industrial zones.
- Technical Sales Knowledge: Must have understanding of equipment specifications, applications, and industrial operations
- Client Relationship Management: Must possess strong experience in managing large accounts, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer), and end-user clients, including MSME
- Lead Generation & Deal Closure: You’ll be responsible for identifying and generating potential leads, managing sales pipeline, and convert revenue, ensuring communication with sales and back-office team at all times
- CRM & Documentation: Regularly share daily sales report and updates, manage client pipeline, MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint), CRM tools
- Communication Skills: You will be responsible for strong presentation, technical proposal writing, and interpersonal communication, including but not limited to sharing company’s social media links and website link with prospective customers
- Market Awareness: You will be responsible for competitor mapping, market trend analysis, and regional business development
- Must be self-driven, target-oriented, comfortable with field work and frequent travel
- Must possess strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities at all times, as an individual team player.
Job Requirements:
- Qualification: Graduate / Diploma (Engineering preferred)
- Experience: 1 to 4 years in B2B industrial or technical sales
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment and applications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to convince customers and close deals
- Comfortable with field sales and frequent travel
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and result-focused
