Job Description:
We are hiring a Java Support Engineer to manage and support Java-based applications in a production environment. The role involves troubleshooting issues, ensuring system stability, and working closely with development teams for quick resolution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 production support for Java applications
- Monitor applications and resolve incidents within SLA
- Troubleshoot issues related to APIs, databases, and servers
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes
- Work with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements
- Support deployment and release activities
- Analyze logs using tools like Splunk / ELK
- Maintain proper documentation of issues and resolutions
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Java and core concepts
- Experience with Spring Boot framework
- Good understanding of REST APIs & Microservices
- Hands-on experience with SQL (MySQL/Oracle)
- Basic Linux/Unix knowledge
- Experience in debugging and log analysis
- Familiarity with application servers (Tomcat, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios/AppDynamics)
- Basic scripting (Shell/Python)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
