Fabrication Work
- Perform cutting, fitting, grinding, drilling, and assembly of metal components.
- Fabricate structures, frames, supports, tanks, ducts, or equipment as per drawings.
- Measure and mark materials accurately before fabrication.
- Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of fabricated parts.
2. Welding Operations
- Carry out welding using ARC, MIG, TIG, CO2, or gas welding processes as required.
- Ensure weld quality as per specifications and standards.
- Prepare joints and surfaces before welding.
- Remove welding defects and carry out repair welding when required.
3. Drawing Interpretation
- Read and understand fabrication and welding drawings.
- Follow dimensions, welding symbols, and specifications accurately.
- Coordinate with supervisors for clarification of drawings or fabrication sequences.
4. Machine & Tool Handling
- Operate welding machines, gas cutting sets, grinders, drilling machines, and fabrication tools safely.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Report equipment faults or maintenance requirements immediately.
5. Quality Control
- Ensure fabrication and welding work meets quality standards.
- Conduct basic dimensional and visual inspection of fabricated parts.
- Minimize rework, rejection, and material wastage.
6. Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all factory and site safety procedures.
- Use PPE such as welding helmet, gloves, goggles, safety shoes, and apron.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at the work area.
- Handle gas cylinders and electrical equipment safely.
7. Coordination & Teamwork
- Work closely with fitters, engineers, supervisors, and crane operators.
- Support production targets and timely completion of work.
- Assist during loading, unloading, and assembly activities if required.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
