ABOUT US
At AnduraX, we’re building India’s first private Re-entry vehicle designed to fly to space, carry experiments and payloads, and return them safely to Earth. We believe the future of space isn’t just about going farther; it’s also about coming back safer. By building a platform that can fly frequently, recover gently, and serve a wide range of commercial and defence needs, we’re opening doors to a space-powered industrial future. As part of our growing team, you will gain direct experience working on multidisciplinary flight systems that integrate aerodynamics, avionics, guidance, propulsion, structures, recovery systems, and mission operations.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Flight Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the onboard flight software that enables autonomous operation of AnduraX's reusable re-entry vehicle. You will implement, integrate, and validate guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) algorithms while developing reliable real-time embedded software for all mission phases, from launch and atmospheric flight to recovery and future orbital missions. Working closely with GNC, Avionics, Systems Engineering, Aerodynamics, Flight Dynamics, and Test teams, you will bridge the gap between control algorithms and flight hardware by transforming mathematical models into flight-ready software. You will own the development, verification, and deployment of flight-critical software running on onboard flight computers.
This role requires strong expertise in embedded software development, real-time systems, control implementation, flight computers, and aerospace software verification. You will play a critical role in enabling autonomous flight for India's first privately developed reusable re-entry vehicle.
This role combines software development, laboratory testing, hardware integration, simulation, and flight-test activities. Candidates should be comfortable transitioning between coding, debugging embedded hardware, simulation environments, and outdoor flight operations.
