Position Overview
The Captain Cum Cashier will be responsible for ensuring smooth restaurant operations by handling customer service, billing, cash management, and order processing. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in restaurant operations and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Handle billing, cash collection, and daily cash reconciliation.
- Manage dine-in, takeaway, and online orders efficiently.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
- Monitor incoming orders and ensure accurate order processing.
- Maintain proper billing records and documentation.
- Supervise floor operations and uphold service standards.
- Resolve customer queries and concerns promptly.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing and service areas.
- Prepare daily sales reports and cash settlement reports.
- Coordinate & procure basic grocery and operational supply requirements as needed to support restaurant operations.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Captain, Cashier, Restaurant Supervisor, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of restaurant operations and customer service standards.
- Experience handling billing and cash transactions.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
