Position: Logistics Manager – Export & International Logistics
Location: SANTEJ, AHMEDABAD.
Reporting To: General Manager / Director
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to manage domestic and international logistics operations for our FMCG manufacturing business. The role will be responsible for export shipments, international freight, documentation, shipping coordination, customs clearance, transporters, freight forwarders, and timely delivery of goods while ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end export and international logistics operations from order readiness to final delivery.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA/customs agents, transporters, and overseas customers.
- Plan and execute sea, air, and road shipments based on customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Handle and monitor export documentation including Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading/AWB, Certificate of Origin, COO, and other required documents.
- Coordinate with the Export Sales, Production, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and Documentation teams for smooth order execution.
- Ensure timely container planning, stuffing, dispatch, port movement, and shipment tracking.
- Monitor customs clearance, port operations, shipping schedules, detention/demurrage, and documentation accuracy.
- Negotiate and manage freight rates, transportation costs, and logistics contracts to achieve cost efficiency.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to internal teams and international customers.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements, international trade practices, and company policies.
- Maintain proper logistics records, shipment reports, freight bills, and documentation.
- Handle logistics-related issues such as shipment delays, damages, shortages, documentation discrepancies, and claims.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport vendors.
- Monitor logistics KPIs including on-time shipment, freight cost, transit time, demurrage/detention, and delivery performance.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, service levels, and cost savings.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in logistics, preferably in FMCG / Food Manufacturing / Export-oriented companies.
- Strong hands-on experience in export logistics and international shipments.
- Good knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, freight forwarding, and international logistics.
- Experience in handling sea and air freight will be preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
