We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in custom theme and plugin development, performance optimization, API integrations, and website security. The role requires close collaboration with designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using best coding practices.
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on business requirements.
- Convert UI/UX designs (Figma, Adobe XD, PSD) into responsive, pixel-perfect WordPress websites.
- Optimize website performance, speed, SEO readiness, and Core Web Vitals.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, and marketing tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
- Implement website security best practices, backups, and regular updates.
- Manage WooCommerce-based eCommerce websites, including customizations and integrations.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow version control practices.
Required Skills
- 5–6 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, filters, and REST API.
- Experience with WooCommerce customization and plugin development.
- Knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types (CPT), and Gutenberg Block development.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with website performance optimization, caching, CDN implementation, and debugging tools.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of web hosting environments, cPanel, FTP/SFTP, and SSL configuration.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.
- Familiarity with headless WordPress and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
- Experience working with Docker or containerized development environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Pay: Up to ₹720,000.00 per year
