THE ROLE:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of experience who thrives on building robust CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and partnering closely with software engineering teams to raise the bar on deployment quality and system reliability. You will work across multi-tenant MarTech deployments — including Adobe Experience Manager on Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) — and contribute meaningfully to our platform engineering maturity.
Location: Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-time
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
CI/CD & Infrastructure Automation
- Pipeline Ownership: Design and own CI/CD pipelines from code commit to production—covering build, test, security scanning, and deployment gates across multiple environments.
- Infrastructure as Code: Provision and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, Azure/GCP a plus) using Terraform or CloudFormation, ensuring environments are fully reproducible and auditable.
- Container Orchestration: Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm chart management and progressive rollout strategies (blue-green, canary).
Adobe Stack & Observability
- AEMaaCS Support: Support AEMaaCS and broader Adobe stack deployments by configuring Cloud Manager pipelines, dispatcher rules, CDN invalidation strategies, and environment-specific configurations.
- Telemetry & Monitoring: Drive observability by instrumenting logging, metrics, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack; define SLOs and alert thresholds in partnership with development teams.
- Incident Management: Manage production incidents and perform comprehensive root cause analysis, owning post-incident reviews to translate findings into hardened infrastructure or process improvements.
DevSecOps, Collaboration & Tools Governance
- Pipeline Security: Embed security directly into the pipeline by integrating SAST/DAST tooling, dependency scanning, and enforcing OWASP best practices across CI/CD workflows.
- Release Optimization: Collaborate with software engineers on release cycle optimization, branching strategies, environment promotion workflows, and comprehensive deployment automation.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain infrastructure documentation, including runbooks, architecture diagrams, and change logs that empower the team to operate independently.
- Toolchain Evaluation: Evaluate and adopt tooling, contributing informed recommendations on toolchain improvements (e.g., ArgoCD, Spinnaker, Helm) as our engineering practice evolves.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Cloud & CI/CD Mastery: Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS strongly preferred; Azure or GCP is a plus) along with a strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Containers & Code: Hands-on container experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments, combined with Infrastructure as Code expertise using Terraform (primary) and/or CloudFormation.
- Scripting & Systems: Scripting proficiency in Bash and Python (PowerShell is a bonus) alongside a solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems, DNS, networking fundamentals, and web servers (Nginx/Apache).
- Monitoring & Operations: Practical experience engineering logging and monitoring dashboards utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, the ELK Stack, or equivalent suites.
- Mindset & Competencies: A systematic troubleshooting mindset comfortable debugging across the stack from infra through application layers; a strong grasp of scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance principles; and an awareness of security risk posture across infrastructure, dependencies, and delivery pipelines.
Nice to Have:
- Adobe Experience Manager: Direct hands-on experience with AEM / AEMaaCS Cloud Manager pipelines, dispatcher configuration, and CDN layer management.
- GitOps Tooling: Exposure to declarative deployment workflows using tools such as ArgoCD, Spinnaker, or Flux.
- Helm Capabilities: Experience authoring and managing customized Helm charts for Kubernetes workloads.
- DevSecOps Tech: Experience implementing SAST/DAST/SCA tooling like Snyk, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, or Trivy.
- Cost Optimization: Experience rightsizing cloud resources, leveraging spot/preemptible instances, or implementing FinOps practices.
- Agency Exposure: Experience working in digital agency or client-services environments with multiple simultaneous workstreams.
