Job Title: Accounts cum Finance Executive
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts cum Finance Executive who will be responsible for managing both accounting functions and equity/share-related activities. This role requires a balanced skill set, with approximately 50% focus on core accounting responsibilities and 50% on investment portfolio management, including coordination with brokers, execution of trades, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and hands-on experience in both accounting and capital market operations.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Accounting & Finance (50%)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Handle day-to-day accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare periodic financial statements including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, income tax filings, and other regulatory obligations.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
Monitor cash flow and maintain proper financial controls.
Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions.
B. Equity / Share Market Operations (50%)
Manage and monitor the organization’s investment portfolio, including equities and related instruments.
Execute buying and selling of shares based on management decisions or predefined strategies.
Coordinate closely with brokers and financial advisors for trade execution and market insights.
Track market trends, stock performance, and provide periodic updates/reports to management.
Download, maintain, and analyze broker statements, contract notes, and holding reports.
Reconcile investment records with broker statements and internal records.
Prepare portfolio performance reports, including profit/loss analysis and investment summaries.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance related to investment transactions.
Maintain records of dividends, corporate actions, and other investment-related income.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).
Professional qualifications such as CA (Inter), CMA (Inter), or MBA Finance will be an added advantage.
2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and share market operations.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Practical knowledge of stock markets, trading platforms, and investment concepts.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Excel (including advanced functions).
Familiarity with broker platforms and financial reporting tools.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
