1. To institute an effective and comprehensive Quality Management system ( QMS) for all processes and products at Chanakya. The QMS will involve systems for checking of raw materials until the final finished products along with a strong emphasis on an effective reporting system that will reflect both technical quality details as well as efficiencies and Management information systems.
2. To ensure that Quality Checks are carried out at every stage in a clean and dust free environment and the final product is flawless in all aspects and passes the inspection by independent agencies and clients. A final quality assurance report will need be issued by you for every shipment.
3. To ensure that a proper handover from Sampling Dept. to Production is carried out for every style prior to the commencement of production.
4. To ensure that the concerned Production Coordinators and Production / jobbing units are fully advised of all technical aspects and to ensure that all production samples are approved by the clients and changes if any, required in the production samples are properly communicated in writing to all concerned. Prior to undertaking bulk production, duly approved samples are available in production units for ready reference.
5. To ensure complete client satisfaction by fully understanding and executing quality as per their needs while keeping levels of client communication very high throughout the season.
6. To carry out a periodic manpower audit to ensure that all related departments are staffed with suitably qualified and trained people and that there are no excess or shortage of competent staff in any department and to recruit fresh staff as necessary and arrange for their proper training before they are put on the job
7. To carry out a periodic study of present set up of various facilities, processes, skill sets, Machines and Equipment followed and recommend changes if any to be carried out to ensure that we produce High Fashion Flawless and Quality Garments with consistent quality standards as agreed with the various Clients.
8. To institute proper online Production Planning System at the Production Unit including Jobbing units; to ensure the production are planned, carried out and monitored and updated on a daily basis and the orders are completed and shipped within stipulated time : Introduce reporting systems to ensure that the daily production inputs and outputs data are reported in Std. Hours so that these can be closed monitored to minimize any idle time and under-recovery of overheads.
9. To ensure that all material and embroidered Panels are checked and any alterations are carried out prior to production of garments
10. To ensure that all orders are produced, packed , inspected , executed and shipped in time and there are no delays in Shipments
11. MIS: To ensure efficiencies through out supply chain and keep the Management board informed of all critical movements.
